Restraint Systems

The main business of SIMINVEST OOD is supply and installation of steel road restraint system according to EN 1317. For carrying out these activities subject [to compliance with the applicable technical regulations and standards we have got all necessary machinery and equipment. The company has purchased up-to-date chain pneumatic high-impact driving machines with a driving height up to 4300 mm, which allows installation of all types of steel road restraint systems.
At the beginning of 2011 standards concerning road restraint systems obligatory for all European Union Member States have become effective.
According to EN 1317, road restraint systems have to be crash-tested and to bear CE marking. By this marking the manufacturers declare that the products (road restraint system components) meet the essential requirements of the European construction products Directive. The impact test (crash-test) guarantees that the vehicle would remain within the road width, higher travelers safety and less damages on the vehicle in case of possible collision with the steel barrier. Road restraint system certification according to this standard guarantees minimal damages on the vehicle, higher travelers safety and minimization of the risk of appearing of the vehicle in the opposite lane. SIMINVEST OOD has got this road restraint systems testing done in 2012 in Italy at the laboratory C.S.I. Spa Certificazione e testing, Number 106\ME\HRB\11 Rev.1 and Number 105\ME\HRB\11 Rev.1.

After the audit of the production control system and the successful initial testing of the road restraint system of the Road Safety Consortium a member of which is our SIMINVEST OOD, the Company has been certified successfully against BDS EN 1317 and is a manufacturer of road restraint system components.
Highly qualified engineers and technicians work in our technical department; we have got a sufficient number of installation staff and machinery and equipment to guarantee high mobility of our teams and allowing to make necessary arrangements in prompt and timely manner for the fulfillment of short-term and long-term orders.
We have done the installation of road restraint systems in all motorways and in a large number of roads within the national road system in Bulgaria. The Company cooperates extensively with the municipal administrations and is involved in the maintenance and construction of the urban street system in Sofia, in the municipality of Pernik, municipality of Pleven, municipality of Kyustendil and many others, whereby one of the most massive projects within the national road system is Lyulin motorway which has been implemented by us totally.
